Event reporting:
- Event reports must be returned to the SCB within 5 days of the event taking place, as is referenced in the MOMS 3.2.11.1
- Where an event is held close to end of month MTAS appreciates prompt return of all reports
- We have had multiple disciplines returning reports up to 4 weeks late over the last 3 months
- Rec events including RPA and coaching only require a 1 page report unless injuries occur. This is a recreational event report, available in Jotform and paper form through the below link.
- Comp events require Stewards report, COC report and injury reports if applicable. These are available in Jotform and paper form through the below link.
- Track inspection reports whilst needing to be completed stay with the club unless requested, also available at the below link

Injury Management:
- Reporting
- The importance in returning reports promptly ties with injury management.
- Riders are suspended based on injury reports supplied, where a report is delayed can allow a rider to participate whilst recovering from concussion for example.
- All injuries requiring medical clearance need to be reported to the MTAS office the next business day, as per the instructions on the injury report.
- Clearing an injured rider
- The only way a rider can obtain medical clearance is by submitting the clearance in ridernet to be actioned by the MTAS office
- Clubs and officials are unable to clear riders track side
- This applies even where a rider has a medical certificate
- The rationale for this is there are multiple types of suspensions and we do not expect clubs and officials to manage suspensions
- Event types
- Medical suspensions apply across all disciplines and permit types.
- Injury at an RPA event resulting in suspension applies at Road racing and MX for example.
- Medical suspensions apply across all disciplines and permit types.
- Suspended riders list
- The suspended riders list is sent to all club delegates weekly
- Please ensure this is passed on to any person running an event at your club
- The suspended riders list can also be found on the MTAS website for those that may not see the weekly comms
- All event managers, recreational supervisors and race secretaries need to be across this list preventing participation of suspended riders
- The suspended riders list is sent to all club delegates weekly
